Mission Statement

The mission of the Vero Beach American Little League is to firmly implant in the youth of our community the ideals of good sportsmanship, loyalty, courage and respect for authority so that they may become stronger, healthier, happier young adults.

The Little League Baseball and Softball program is designed to develop superior citizens rather than superior athletes.

We cannot accomplish our goals without the help of our parents.  That is why we strongly encourage parents to find an opportunity to help volunteer.  It is that important, because without your help, none of this would happen.

Furthermore, by volunteering and serving you are demonstrating to your children that you value and respect others. In addition, this helps parents keep a healthy perspective on the main reason we are here. These are our players and they deserve the best we can give them.

Volunteer Opportunities

Please talk to your team manager about how you would like to serve.

• Concession Stand
• Press Box (Announcer, Scorekeeper)
• Field Maintenance personnel (Raking and Lining the field)
• Stadium Cleanup (Trash pickup and removal)
• Practice Coach
• Umpire
• Equipment Manager
• Team Parent (Helps organize team volunteers and communications)

Tee Ball: 5 & 6 yrs

Coach Pitch: 7 & 8 yrs

Minors: 9 & 10 yrs

Majors: 11 & 12 yrs
